Coulee Creek's Backyard Critters

And did they grow!  You could see a difference in size almost daily.  They were in velvet, of course, and I've pictorially chronicled their growth.

One day while looking at the lake, a large critter appeared in the back yard.  Yep, it is a cow Elk.

She was a real treat and came  2 or three times a week.  We could sit on the lanai and talk to her.

After a month or so,  she appeared one afternoon with a large companion.  This was really interesting!

One morning, we noticed the large one had 2 bumps on his head.  It was a bull and we watched his horns grow.
